USA will receive their 10D after 10 March. Ours will be later. How much later, I do not know. However, there are reports that Canon already has ready stocks to distribute to the whole world.

unrealistic? I do not think so.

In fact, I think it may be a wise (and very realistic) choice on the seller's part to let go now, rather than wait longer and suffer an even bigger loss.

Somebody is selling D60 with 8months + 2yrs extended warranty for the price of S45. $900 + grip;p
Now G3 can balik kampung.

Hmph, looks like Canon's refusal to issue a EOL to the D60 made those people who had bought it since the start of this year a sucker. Hey, if Canon has so much stock, they would know the D60 is not worth paying US$2k for it...

pls note that this D60 is more than 13 months, which is 2 months earlier than mine. I dun think Canon ever sold any D60 before March 2002, which was even earlier than PMA2002, maybe. So unless the seller can provide all the proof for his D60, be careful about it. u get what I mean?

pre-production unit?

Makes sense. I remember the D30 was selling for $4650 when it came out at Cathay. Look at value now... karung guni prices compared to earlier.

I think it's not a matter of what the camera cost but rather the price of the pictures and memories that it gave you...priceless!

I have a D60 but I'll use it till the 1st 1GP cam comes along....
