D5100 user...fall in!! Part Two

For SB700 owners, do SB700 come with a diffuser dome like SB800 and SB900?

If yes, try this setting on your camera. Set to M mode, Shutter speed to 1/80, Aperture F5.6 - F8. SB700 flash with Dome, set to 45 degree. Try on your girlfriend, boyfriend, lover....etc.

my advise you to get the 1.8g first secondhand to try out. Unless you are those really hardcore to the core, get the 1.4g, else as a normal user, get 1.8g.

Assuming he is a D5100 user, the AFD version won't allow him to AF. Hence I recommended renting a AFS version instead :p

Hi bros, yes, i am using D5100 thus the me in this thread. I understand abt the D lens n i dont mind the manual focus but for ard additional 50$, i can get the G version which has option to AF or manual. But for the 1.4G, haha, i guess i hv to be contented with renting it....

Erm, for the G version, it's at least $130 extra. What limsha bro referring is BnS price for AFD 50mm F/1.8
