D5000, D3000 and D60...

if you are talking about lens, there are popular reviewers who feel that the 18-55 is actually sharper and better valued than the 18-105, though of course the latter is more versatile and looks more professional too. i bought my d5000 kit for $1166; cathay photo offered 1580 for d90 kit. perhaps $200 is a exaggeration from me, my apologies. =)

oh haha...yeah thats true. thats why i considered getting EOS 500D instead of my current D5000. canon lens seems more appealing to me.

not that Canon lens more appealing... but Canon bodies accept other makes of lenses more readily than Nikon.

I've got old but good Contax lenses... but unable to mount onto my D90.
