Went browsing for a D4 today, best price offered (store who have stock) is 9400 - 9799 incl gst, want to know if it good price ? Also I see the youtube cilps showing the unpacking of the D4, includes a 16GB QXD card and reader. Can anyone confirm if it is the case with the Singapore editions as well ?

Yes. Local set comes with 16gb qxd card and reader.

Thanks Alan, got my D4 today from Cathay Photo (SGD 9799 Incl GST). Looked like Nikon SG send out a few units to dealers today (Cathay Received only 2 units). First shop at Sim Lim removed the XQD card and Reader, only after I asked for it, they produced the card and reader from behind the counter. Agreed price was SGD 9400 Incl, yesterday, today he asked $9400 excl. Proved again, stick to the reliable dealers, and do your homework about current prices. Just a bit dissapointed not to be able to get hands on a second D4 body.

Wow. $9799 cash or credit? Looks like the shops are starting to take advantage of the limited supply to mark-up the price. I got mine for $9100 cash a couple of weeks ago from a shop in Funan. Phew

It's a rip-off price but if you need it, you gotta have it, you will pay for it.



Tried the 3200 ASA last night, details resolved beautifully on AF-S 17-35 f/2.8 and AF-S 24-70 f/2.8. Sensor exceeds my expectations. The 24-70 f/2.8 also personally feel it exceeds that of the older AF-S 28-70 f/2.8 on the body.
