D3000 Pricing

I have looked at the nikon price list section but found that most of the pricing are a few months back. Can any kind forumer enlighten me on the current pricing for D3000 Kit and (the packaged freebies) ?

I have enquired at Challenger and Audio House but theirs are the std nikon package at 988 with a few extras thrown in (like extra card after some bargaining).

Is it possible to get it under 850 dollars? and at where?

Normally Courts, Harvey Norman, Challenger will sell at their full RRPs. If you are looking for cheap deals, can forget about all these big names.

I got mine from South Asia, and even so I got it at $899 with the few usual freebies like SD card, carrying bag, lcd protector, etc, thrown in without bargaining.

You can try other shops that specializes in photography products like Cathay Photo, Alan Photo, MS Color, John 3:16. It's then up to you to bargain down the prices.

Thanks. Any body heard about SLR revo at Funan, i came across some post say they sell at 820 only with std nikon freebies. I am not too sure abt this store, not amongst the big names mentioned above. A bit scared it is a pirate store give display set, i dun know how to check for all these things like shutter count ???

Do these shops give you sealed boxes or unsealed ones ? Thnaks.
