D3 - Flush Shoe Cover

guys, do you know where to buy the flush shoe cover for D3? that comes with the D3 itself that will cover the whole hot shoe terminal.

funny it's not actually meant to protect from moisture & dirt..

it's considered as one of the parts not accessories.
you can get it fron Nikon SC, not cheap tho. check your user's guide to find the part number and give 'em a call for pricing & availability.

It's called BS-1 .It's not cheap for such a small piece of plastic.Read somewhere on cs that it cost 5 dollars.But alternatively you can get the Canon which cost 1 dollar.(Read from cs too)

Different people have different boiling point..When asking for information in forums, the TS should realize that he's asking information which no one is obliged to provide. sometimes posting an OT is more welcome here than replying trying to be a helpful. which i did, without one intention to make fun.
glennboi, i lost my cover and i can only get it from NSC, they don't even know the part number until we flip through D3 user's manual i saved in my phone. and we both did giggle reading the cover is "to prevent light reflected from the metal parts of the shoe from appearing in photographs". how thoughtful - i love nikon

the part number is BS-2, no shops that i know have it. and it's no S$3. call NSC, i bought the last piece they had last time.

you don't have to shout, i'm fine with that but others might not.
if you did misunderstand on my first post, you don't have to apologize. my last post here is to correct the wrong answer other's did so i can sleep well tonight.

is the flat one

Nikon BS-2
is the bigger ones . which i believe suits ur D3.
