hehehe....

icic...

Though i do hold that same philosophy on equipment, it's almost impossible to maintain that view on equipment, especially with digital bodies now.
(hint: my coy's trailing a new nikon body with a 22mp count.)

But you might want to spend on lenses instead.

Might i reccomend these 4:

1. 17-35 2.8
2. 28-70 2.8
3. 80-200 2.8
4. 50 1.4/8

:)

does the 80-200 f/2.8 have a Vibra-Reduc(VR)???

No.. it doesn't.. but in my honest opinion, this version as compared to the 70-200, is MUCH more durable/reliable.. It's also built like a tank.

but then again, it depends very much on how you use it too.

Professional Guideline(PG) is my own term that I use to critic a picture. I even use it to critic my own picture to improve my photographic skills.

The guidelines are as follows:

1) Composition? Is the image to cluttered etc.
2) What is the style? Snapshot? Reportage? Fashion? etc.
3) Who or What is the subject in the picture?
4) How well the photographer controls the medium?
5) How the well the photographer interpretes the picture or what is he trying to tell?

These are the 5 steps I use to critic a picture. ;)
these are ur own terms, i believe? :)

yup, u should always refer back to ur older works and see if u can improve on them if the same scenario appears again.

always seek self-improvement and accept critiques from others.

if i were u, with S$25k to spare... i will upgrade my computer and buy myself a D2X.

yeah! all the best!
