Cybershot DSC-H2 and Cybershot DSC-H5

My cute little niece favourite sports, water sports.

Candid shot of my student who was looking like he was pulling his ears together with his sorry looks, this is totally opposite from the image he portrays in class.

And taken from AAK's wonderful website, a flying sparrow caught with H1.

These are just some examples and I'm still learning how to use the H1.

Admittedly a digicam is still not as responsive as a dSLR but the minimal shutter lag and the lack of noticeable LCD lag (if it's 0.5sec, all these shots would not be possible) today means prosumer cameras can do much much more if you give them a try. Lag may be a major issue for some cameras in the past and even today, but not so for the H1 and hopefully H2 and H5 would be the same.

to support mastermind's cause, here's panning shot taken by H1 recently... ;p ... Shutter lag and LCD lag is a non-existance issue for me when using the H1 :thumbsup:

My previous digicam did have some really terrible lag... As my dog walk pass, I point at the head and shoot. What appears on the preview screen is the tail!!! :bsmilie: But not with H1... Here's a pic of my dog taken using H1...

You will be glad to hear this over from dpreview that people found the AF for H2 to be very fast.

(focusing speed) Is the same as my canon 20D! Just popped into the local Sony centre to test drive the new H2 as I'm thinking of getting a H5. What I wasnt prepared for was the AF speed being so quick. So quick in fact that as I was going to just half press the shutter it actually took the photo!
