CV 35mm F1.2 vs F1.4

Hi all.

Someone offered to sell me a BNIB Chrome CV 35mm F1.2 and that got me curious.

Tried to google and can't really find much review on this lens except that prices are creeping upwards and it is a huge lens. Very little mention about the drawing and rendering of this lens.

How does it differ from the F1.4 SC/MC version etc.

The chrome seems to be a good collector's item but before I make up my mind, anyone has any insights to share on the qualities of this lens?

Sean Reid (unfortunately pay site) has an excellent and extremely detailed review and comparison (with sample pics) of 35 Nokton 1.2 compared to the Summiluxes.

I have had both, god rid of the 1.2 because of size. honestly, they quality of both lenses are about the same, for the a smaller lens and half the price, i sold the 1.2 and got myself a 1.4.

Chrome one, I'll buy without hesitation....just must sure focus is on.

had both, sold the 1.4 as not that sharp wide open
and harsher bokeh then the 1.2

f1.4 pancake lens anytime. Can't be bothered with bokeh anyway
