CV 35mm F1.2 version 2 selling August 2011

Lol today we debated whether to go chiif shop to see this new lens.

Some shots taken with a M8, all wide open at f/1.2, ISO160. Beautifully sharp from wide-open, but not in a clinical manner.

Initial impressions on this lens - good value for money. Sharp at f/1.2, with sharpness increasing slightly at f/1.4. Reminds me of the way some of the Leica pre-ASPH lenses render, without being too clinical or plastic-like. Build quality is solid, just a shame the hood is sold separately and not packaged with the lens.

But seriously, it's a good price for the quality, imho.

Very sharp when the focus is nailed right, even wide open at f/1.2!

Just wondering if MFD of 0.7m affects only digital Ms or film Ms as well?
