Cutting a Bay3 Filter for Rolleiflex TLR Viewing Lens

i just got 2 bay3 filters for my tlr. but realize that i need to cut the filter of the viewing lens so the filter for the taking lens can fit in.

anyone knows where i can get my filter cut?

May I ask which Rolleiflex model you are using?

There are Bay I, II and III filters for different Rolleiflex model and Bay III is the most expensive one and you want to cut it?

i using 2.8F

no choice le, else just the filter on the taking lens, the lens cap also cannot fit.

maybe just get a cheap bayIII and cut it. do u know what i am trying to do?

ok. i figured out how to phrase what i want to do.

i have 2 bay III filtesr. I want to fit both these filters on the taking lens and the viewing lens of my 2.8F at the same time. However, there isn't enough space so the only way is to shave of (or cut) a small portion of the filter intended for the viewing lens so both filter can be mounted at the same time.

i need to find a place to cut it.

why not just sell the bay3 filter and get the correct one that you need....u can even save some money from it.
