Yes, you're right. There are times when I go shooting in the nature reserves either alone, or my group has split up. There was a time when I came across a troop of about 20 monkeys, and the alpha male charged at me with his teeth bared. I just stood my ground and raised my monopod, and it just backed away. But it's quite scary :sweat:, and its threatening stance may have changed into an attack if I had tried to go too near the baby monkeys.
Not sure if anyone here had ever suffered a direct confrontation or attack by these Long-Tailed Macaques before.
Sounds harrowing heh. Luckily u were quite calm. Not fun to find yourself surrounded by hostile monkeys. Do not have such first hand experience so far :sweatsm:, but once again, i think its a great reminder to fellow CSers. Safety first, always cheers! :thumbsup:
