Tried on the CS Photo Gallery... find it so miserable coz I have to resiz the photo till "very very small" before I can post it.
Cannot see details of photos :(

i agreed. but well, i understand the prob of large size files.

wat i did was to reduce image quality instead of the image size

Ya, I realized that many photos in the Gallery have lost its quality especially the details and sharpness. The limit is just too small per photo( think the resolution is less than 800x600). I rather have limit on number of photos posted than having bad quality photos ...how could my friends appreciate the gallery if the quality is bad. :(

Get a web hosting service with at least 1GB of space, you can put whatever size you want.

(1) The 100kb image size limit is totally reasonable. In my 'paid' clubsnap webspace, I keep all my pics within the 100Kb limit as well and no-one has complained that my pics are 'very very small' or 'cannot see details' (well, most of the time anyway : ) )

(2) Subscribe to clubsnap webpage for a tiny monthly fee and upload 1 Mb pics for all to see.

100KB limit for JPG is entirely reasonable and you can get great quality pics if you follow the steps below :-

Darren's Guide to Resizing and Cropping

I will be updating the article with some more step-by-step tutorials with more emphasis on file sizing and smart sharpening to make the most out of the image size limits.

Thanks!! This helps :)

How do I upload pictures in the gallery?

I found it.
