I posted a thread to sell a new 400D at $1000 in marketplace and he post an unprofessional reply in violation of guideline #1:

"Unless I'm hard of hearing, but John 3:16 quoted me $1,050 for a brand new 400D..."

How can this person come to my thread & 'disturb' my biz. So i told him off for being unprofessional. He has the chick to PM me with 4 letter word.....this guy is immature and should be ban from this forum.

This is a forum he's free to say what he wants and comment on your asking price if he wants to. Especially since capitalism is based on free market principles.

no... there are house rules in whatever organisation or group that you are in. price policing is a definite no-no.

Please do not:-

1. Crash into another seller's thread offering similiar item at lower price.

2. Crash into seller's thread saying "But can get Item X at price S$Y here" or "Last time, Person A sold me/Person B the same item at Price S$Z" - if you want to provide price update to the seller, please use Private Messaging.

While members may have good intentions in posting publically on the above items, please remember that the transaction is strictly between the buyer and seller, and it is the onus of the buyer and seller to do their own homework, and to negotiate.

to threadstarter - u can use the report Bad Post (the little warning triangle on the top rite) to highlight the post to the mods for action. dun need to start a thread just for this.
