is the new 7 mdh smaller than the older 7 mdh ???
coz i see frm the shop it like more smaller becoz of the thick better side cushion???
correct mi if i wrong thx

Initially i thought was smaller too but brought home and compared to my older one and is pretty much similar. It looks smaller due to its newer design. Cushioning wise i preferred the older one as the new one is a bit stiffer (maybe not seasoned yet).

My old one has since been sold.

Crumpler claim that the volume of the new version is the same as the old one.

However the new version does look smaller compared to the old one.
It certainly looks slimmer. The old one seems to have more width and depth.

Design wise, the new one is definitely more secure and sturdy.... And u can make it "noiseless" if you cover up the 2 small velcro.

Thus, there are both pros and cons with the new version...

Trust me, it's the same 15L capacity. Yes it's much more sturdier and firm when carried by the handle. The older one seems like any time can give way.

Hi, one question....can this bag stores a 14" laptop with a canon 40D??
thinking of getting one...

Thanks Snoweagle for the pic, yes. This is the one that i'm mentioned. Its very cool!

All the 2,4,5,6 & 7 Million dollar home have changed to this new design.

But it seems like very small as compare to the old version that i had, one thing good is that

the front compartment has velco with it. Cool man!

Both old and new versions have velcro on the front compartment just that the new one omits the flap type, making it easier to access.

If u're just talking abt 40D body without grip attached, yes. If not, it won't fit.

Although no laptop compartment but u can rearrange the inserts to hold one.

Wanted to get keystone today... but out of stock in whole of singapore :(

Hi Snoweagle,

Noticed the shoulder pad is a new design. Is it more comfortable as compare to the old one? The old version caused me shoulder ache after carrying it (with full load) for while.

Somehow i still prefer the older design... simple and easy to take out gear
