Happened to see one camera shop at PENINSULA SHOPPING CENTER (first floor), can't remember the shop name, having lots of used lens, selling new CRUMPLER 6MDH camera bag at only $130.

Any bros bought from them? Are the bags genuine?

how do u differentiate genuine?

Oh..what I meant is that are their bags original? becos outside is selling much higher than this price..

There is a dedicated Crumpler shop in VivoCity. Overpriced in my opinion.

I also feel Crumpler bags are overpriced. I will look at Think Tank instead :)

Seems that prices have gone up...perhaps of the strong Aussie dollar

I still can't decide to go for a shoulder bag or a backpack, each has its own pros and cons..

Just buy and use one of them first. I switched from shoulder to back pack as I purchased more gear. Things got heavy and now I wouldn't want a shoulder bag

is it from "The Camera Workshop"? I think they're imitations

Yes! It's Camera Workshop.

Imitations, serious?

Lucky I did not buy this afternoon..

To be fair, their Crumpler lookalikes have a different logo. It's not a Crumpler logo. Conceptually, their bags are similar, but the sizing is a bit different. I have one of their Safrotto Domke-like bags, and while the concept is the similar, the one I have is larger, and the size isn't available in a Domke version. Personally, I prefer the Safrotto one as it holds more gear than even my Domke J1

Interestingly, Safrotto Billingham lookalikes have all be disappeared from the shelves of stores in China... But Nat Geo copies abound... I think billingham is making some moves there.

Oh, I saw the bag and it's confirmed a Crumpler bag with the logo.

But that store is quite good leh. I think they are pretty friendly, not out to cheat your money? Well, maybe when you buy, they will tell you It ain't real

I think the best is to check out the official crumpler store for the model u saw just to make sure..there is one at wheelock 2nd floor and another at ion orchard.

I seen many fake ones overseas which have the crumpler logo and even the tag. But the quality of the fabric gives it away ...
