anyone knows if there is a place in Singapore with a large selection of crumpler bags for people to choose from?

either at wheelock place( that's the crumpler boutique)
or at cathay photo.
;) ;)

yup yup..those two places..

cathay photo only carries crumpler bags that are designed for carrying cameras and laptops... if you are looking for messenger bags and non photography related bags, then cathay wont have them. you gotta go to wheelock place.

Cathay photo much cheaper than WP

Price at WP is substantially higher. Would suggest that you head down to CP or even 77th Street to take a look.
Diff abt 20% :dunno:

hmm... seems like only these 2 places sell crunpler bags.

Is it true that you can get crumpler bags at much much cheaper prices very in Australia, coz it's not exactly branded there as compared to here? It's like Giordano, it's a branded label in cities like Jakarta and you pay as much as 10X more than what you pay in Shenzhen.

Not true i travel to Melbourne regular. Bags there are approx. 30% more than Singapore

Crumplers cost more in Australia then in singapore... bought one there fer like 50 bucks or so more... But u can get it Cheaper if u go to the crumpler factory outlet... they sell the out of seasons bags or stuff that is slighty damaged, u knoe never pass qc. now those are way way way cheaper than in singapore... hahahah ;)

So where can we find the Crumpler Factory Outlet? How much cheaper are the stuff there?

What about bunion inserts? Only the wheelock place shop sells them? The weenie bunion seemed to be out of stock there.

Can confirm what EzyOne said. Lived in Melbourne for two years. Crumpler bags definitely cheaper in Singapore. Contrary to popular belief, Crumpler IS branded in Oz. And since you mentioned, so is Giordano. Wear your Singapore-bought Gios there and people think you have money to burn. Hehehe... Well, not really but Giordano is also more pricey in Oz.

The bunion inserts, I think have stopped being manufactured ever since their line of camera bags have become more extensive, so naturally quite hard to get now.

Like malakite said, it sells out-of-season, defective, returned (yes, 30-day return policy is standard there for almost anything) and other goods not deemed fit for sale at normal price. But sometimes, the 'defect' is almost unnoticeable. And some returned goods are actually in really good and useable condition. You have to make regular visits to get a good bargain though 'cos stuff comes in and gets sold really fast.

:D
