Crossing Bridges celebrates its 19th year with a multinational photography jamboree to Northern Vietnam from 12-18 of October
Since 2004, Clubsnap has been sending teams to Crossing Bridges annually to various countries like Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, South Korea, Philippines, Taiwan, China and Sri Lanka . This trip will be a week long and will be filled with shooting activities daily together with friendship and networking opportunities with photographers from about 10 different countries
Participants are expected to go with little meaningful sleep , shooting and mingling under a host of different conditions
ITINERARY
Discover the Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark
(12 to 18 October 2022, Ha Giang, VietNam)
Ha Giang is the northernmost province of Vietnam with the heartland is Dong
Van . Located over 1,000 meters above sea level, Dong Van Karst Plateau
Geopark is formed by narrow valleys alternating with rocky mountain ranges
.With many heritage of geological, stratigraphic, architectural and cultural
unique features of the highland, Dong Van stone plateau has touch the hearts
of worldwide photographer. Comes along with a wild, pure and mysterious
beauty, Dong Van stone plateau has been recognized by UNESCO as one of a
remarkable site and the first global geological park of Vietnam. Ha Giang is the
land of 17 ethnic minority group live within the geopark, such as the H'Mong,
Dao, Lolo, Tay, Nung.. They have a great, variable and valuable cultural. With
magnificent landscape with terraced fields, beautiful valley of flowers and
fascinating ethnic highland culture, Ha Giang will an enchanting and attractive
destination for photographer.
October is marked as the blooming season of Ha Giang’s famous buckwheat
flower,
Day 1 (12 Oct): Arrival : HANOI
Picking up al the group from Noi Bai Airport Hanoi to hotel
Discover Hanoi ancient town and Hoan Kiem Lake
Dinner
Day 2 (13 Oct): Hanoi - Ha Giang city
7h-00 AM: depart to Ha Giang
11h00: lunch in Tuyen Quang city
15h00: arrived Ha Giang, discover ethnic villages around Ha Giang city
19h00: CB19 Opening Ceremony with the Ha Giang gorvement, Dong Van Karst

overnight in Ha Giang city
Day 3 (14 Oct) Ha Giang city - Dong Van Town
Day 4 (15 Oct) Dong Van- Lung Cu- Pa Vi -Ma Pi Leng
Day 5 (16 Oct) Dong Van, Lung Phin- Yen Minh- Ha Giang city
Day 6 (17 Oct): Ha Giang- Hanoi
Day 7 (18 Oct)eparture : check out and go to Noi Bai Airport
Costs: The cost of the trip is USD780 for land.
This is based on twin-sharing. Unfortunately there is no option for Single room as accomodations in the National Park are limited.
All meals and transport is included in the cost.
We will need to book our own flight to Hanoi.
IF you are selected we'll be meeting a couple of times before departure to sort out the details (eg co-ordinating so that we end up on mostly same flights , settling payments etc )
