bought my nex5n from jakarta indonesia. dual kit lense for rughly sgd1100.
it was around 1050 last week but because of shortage the AD hike up the price by 50 bucks :angry:

I recently got one at $1,227 from Harvey Norman west mall with 8GB SD + 16GB memory stick, carrying case, screen protector and lens book. But if want to pay installment then prob can't get this price as they have to pay for ur interest.

Noob question, is the orange "Touch Panel" sticker part of a screen protector?
If i tear the orange sticker, it will be just the orange sticker part that come off?

Got 2 branches there, 1 is middle 1 is corner.
Corner 1 I saw ah beng sales only, i sian.
The middle one got a lady, think is boss, the sales also friendly.

Yup, if you go by the "3.0" thingy, it may not fit exactly ...some "3.0" are longish rectangle and other almost a square.

but if it states "NEX" on the label ...no horse run one !

Yep, dats rite. Dats why I say at HN west mall have. De 3.0" thing is my way of saying I dun tink it said specifically on de package dat its for NEX 3 or 5.

5NK is a single lens package
5ND is a twin lens package

Yes, complete with flash kit which I have yet to use.

However, if you need bouce ability, get the optional flash HVL-F20S! Good stuff!

I have almost zero knowledge of cameras but willing to learn. May I ask, the lens inculded dual lens kit, the pancake lens and the other bigger lens are for what purpose? My friend briefly told me pancake is for close up shoots and bigger one for zoom in far object shoots... Is that right? Any more elaborate explanation on their purpose? TIA

The pancake lens is the 16mm; can be used for wide angle shot or shooting landscape or interiors.
The other one is a 18-55mm; can be used for travel and street photography. You can also use it to zoom in to your subject but it depends on how far away is the subject from you.
