Cosplay IX - a little late

sorry about the lack of topicality, it took me a while to find the time to do the edit and the grading. Some of the shots were taken at a very high ISO and needed a lot of noise treatment.

My son went to Cosplay IX and I followed him around with the camera for a couple of afternoons.

The main lead in the vid .. its nice to see him interacting with other cosplayer .. especially when he is with the 'sasuke' while the 'itachi' is standing behind stoning .. haha ...

nice! love the effects! were they easy to learn??

The effects were easy to learn if you already know how to use automation in an NLE. I also used a bit of photoshop for the comic stills.

NLE = Non Linear Editor, like Premiere. Most of the FX were in CS5, except Nu Blue Paint FX and Twixtor

What file format did you used?

H.264, a preset that I've made based on the Vimeo spec, 2 pass VBR.

wow nice! great father and son bonding time. I enjoyed the video. Saw that there were SWAT team members. Should have gone down to talk to them... working on a non-commercial project... that requires SWAT Teams...

Next time i got a child project, i will approach u for your son? haha....
