I'm totally impressed with 7D's performance today. ISO640 in my 7D is like ISO 200 in my 450D. Very nice colors and love the Zone-AF, super fast detection even with manual focus. :thumbsup:
I'm loving the ISO performance all the way to 2000. Just overexpose a bit and the noise is nicely controlled. Overexposure can be tweaked back in PP.
I'm going to put the Zone-AF + AI Servo to test this coming F1.
Looking for people to join me. I might bring in 300mm f/2.8L IS USM. I wonder will I get stop. Haha! :bsmilie:

Yup, I've tried indoor shots at ISO2000 as well. Pretty clean and details are not lost. :thumbsup:
I don't think I can go for the F1, will be pretty busy. For the 300mm, try to see if you can get a crew pass from someone if you get stopped :bsmilie:.

Picture of Sigma 17-50mm F2.8 EX DC OS HSM suggest that it doesn't support FTM, which is a pity despite the lens being equipped with HSM.
For the Sigma 50-500mm, its really a great news, better range than its 150-500mm OS version.

After this release, I will be looking at these few Sigma lenses
- 70-200 OS
- 85 1.4
- 24-70 HSM (tested it today as a fellow workshop attendee has it mounted on his 5D2) - the weight and price and performance is worth it.

Nope Canon.
Heavy and expensive. The Sigma 1 is equally good.
