Unless you guys want to these equipment for studio shoot if not,don't think about it.

Nowadays the in-thing is strobist style. Dunnit indoor studio setting liao. Any where, any time.

I intend to set up a DIY studio at my JB home.
So now saving and doing some research.

You want big lights or small lights.

Big lights, I think Bowens are good for a start if you have the spending power. 2k+ for Bowens Gemini 500W Kit IIRC what my fren told me.

Small light, then invest in 580EXII.

Both got their pros & cons. Slowly consider your options.

I like the colors and contrast output from the 16-35 but sometimes can be soft wide open.

It's another expensive lens with an expensive filter thread. :sweat:
