CS4 will lagged your computer if your GPU is not supported. I choose LR to process RAW over CS4. I also went backwards to CS3 for further enhancements of my photos.

It's way way faster.

i use mainly cs3 only. lol even faster.

No choice. As adobe only release ACR for 7D RAW for CS4 only.

Hmmm... 5D2 was announced in 2008 but made available in early 2009. Anyway, whichever is not of a concern.
