:bsmilie: ... me too... same sentiment.
what is this JYC?

So far so gd. Worth the $ spent imo.
A normal tokina is alrdy $20. This is just a bit more for slim + mc.![]()
Wonder how good is it as its a relatively new brand to me. :bsmilie:
When I collected, the seller asked me how I know of this brand. I said I dunno much about it but wanna give it a try.
Well, budget doesn't mean bad stuff, ya.![]()
:bsmilie: Hardly the case. When I told people that Phottix filter can be used as well, most think that its inferior. :bsmilie:
I nearly bought the phottix slim version then I chanced upon this.
Pro-1D and MC and the difference is only $1. Heck, of course I get this. Haha!
Btw, no harm try. Will put it to real field tests soon. It has impressed me thus far. Front cap snaps perfectly is one up alrdy. I do have problem on this with 1 of my Tokina.
Then its strange. Lens cap should be able to attach to Tokina's screw thread easily.
I bought the Phottix Super Pro UV Digital Ultra Slim 86mm for my Bigma lenses, I had say its way durable though people might disagree with me since Phottix ain't that popular for such piece of hardware. :bsmilie:
I had always thought that the Pro1D naming is limited to Kenko/Hoya only.
Slim CPL will be in next mth. Price TBA.![]()
:bsmilie: Shall see how good it is after you've try it out. I've been using Kenko/Hoya Pro1D series 72mm and 77mm filters and all seemed to be very durable and relatively easy to clean. That's y.
I will probably get this brand from this day on. Cheap and good. I'm not a big fan of Hoya thou. The cleaning kills. Of cos, there's B+W for ease of cleaning but the price tag just doesn't justify. Lol. :bsmilie:
Wow! Thanks for the info! Hoping to get one for my UWA soon. Btw, you getting the cokins stack ND filters?
Thot of it. You know the price?
Hi guys. Home Nursing Foundation is organizing a yearly Senior Nite Dinner for the elderly all around Singapore. There are 1400 elderly from different homes attending and the GOH is President Nathan.
I need 4 volunteer photographers to cover the night event at Singapore Expo.
However, it is a weekday (23rd Feb 2010) and need to be at Singapore Expo by 5.30pm. The event should end at 9.30pm.
Dinner will be provided (Halal Vegetarian) and there will be artists from HK, MediaCorp and students from schools performing on the stage.
The photographers would need to cover the event :
[1] Arriving of GOH, VVIP, VIP and some of the elderly from the homes (there will be Lion Dance to welcome them)
[2] President and VVIP's speaches
[3] Performances from various schools and artists
[4] The dinner
[5] Ang Bao (red packet) distribution
Please let me know if you could help. I will be the coordinator
