Not sure as I think that the nissin flash can only be triggered by the 580EXII in ETTL mode. As such, the 580EXII will definately be more powerful that the nissin as 580EXII is guide no. 58 where the nissin di466 is only guide no. 33. So may need to power down a little for even lightings.

40D/50D as priority. Unless 7D got super attractive price, then it's either 40D or 50D. Help me look out for them ok. Dunnit to be at BnS. Sometimes, out there got better deals.

Given you the choice of flash to buy, which will you choose to be the slave for your 580EXII to produce even lighting for product shot, macro, group photo?
