Bcos if news/rumours are true then the current version price will drop then go in for the kill.

In actual fact, I dun see a need to get the mark II version bcos the current version is already a gem in its own class.

Anyway, I'm flying back to sg tomorrow, and gonna start a minor BBB spree soon. Need to get new tripod - Something light and durable, probably CF. Need to ask you all BBB experts for suggestions on what to get

oooo BBB virus is also strong Down under!!! be careful it's the strongest when u come back hhahaha hmmmm CF tripod arh - it's gonna cost u quite abit but it'll be worth it lah (sorry can't type more cos Math exam in 1h!!)

wow wow wow.. better keep your cams in the dry cabinet.. my 50d just came back from csc and it costed me $133 to replace the shutter button. sofa king ex..

Bodies bought in other countries are not under warranty in canon sg...

Sigma 30mm in Thailand is about $725 before VAT deduction by cash, which is about 17,260 baht (exchange rate SGD$1 : Baht$23.81). After VAT deduction claims at the airport will be $683.50. Prices I get are from MBK shopping mall.

CC rates there are not attractive.

Do you need a sturdy tripod? check out benro when you are back anyway.

Never buy camera bodies from other countries :nono:... Some accessories are not covered internationally as well so better check before buying .
