i believe those eligible for upgrade (for new mac owners) may be able to get at a cheaper cost and the cd comes in a normal see thru sleeve (aka normal plastic). my leopard (10.5) was in the plastic sleeve and leaflet when i got it.

cant run ms unless u hv rosetta installed.

er depends if you erase and install or just install? can scud confirm? cuz i've always prefer to erase and install. just to weed out any possible issues.

do check out compatibility list for your apps k. oh, remember to customise and remove all the language packs you do not need to save more space!

I think i will just install over. Cos, my imac is practically new. Haha. And i have 1TB of space. So no worries. Haha.

i just do the installation, not clean install. there will be too many things for me to do if i do a clean install.

oh yes... u need to back up everything and anything that u think u want cos u have a TB to spare. oh btw, the opp will just work fine!

Haha, my back up is done onto my Time machine onto my 500GB drive. So the programms and all would be still there right?
