Hmm, some will say so too. Sometimes, we have to agree. There are somethings that we cannot explain yet. And it's best to leave it that way. People have their reasons to why they ask you not to do certain things at certain point of times. Though the modern world, we rebel, saying it's ridiculous. But there such things around us. Sometimes, some reasons do not have explainations and if someone old and wise, tells you so. Just respect their feelings and not go against it.
I guess, the only expensive thing i'd carry, is my 450D and 2 L lenses if i can save by then?

LOL, same over here man. That time wanted to go there for a short trip, then parents say that Thailands democracy not too stable. So abandon. Then went Malacca instead. If you can survive Malacca, not the urban areas, but the isolated ones, then you can survive bangkok. The key to security is to find signs of you being attacked before the attacker attacks you. Don't get your question. You mean 3 batts charged at 1450mah, and 1 batt charged at 3050mah?
If so, no worries. It called the process of equalization. It's to condition the battery. Your charger will randomly choose 1 battery to be equalized.
Equalization will maintain your battery and prevent the cells from the inside from getting spoilt. As cells discharge and charge overtime, not all the cells will charge equally. So equalization is done to force the cell to charge equal. It's usually done at a higher rating.

Anyway, scud uker.. dunnit to t-loan me ur LS le.. my fren 'threw' his LSII + CP-E4 for me to use for my event this coming week.. =D Anyway, I love what the LS can do and IMO, it's smth that I can use for my events' needs. :thumbsup:

Well, i'm an electrical engineer, so i can say for sure that the batteries are undergoing equilization. It happens to almost every re-chargeable battery. Including my 12V solar battery too.
