I don't know the problems you encounter with the omnibounce but I haven't had any issues with it so far. Too many gadgets, too confusing.

Ceiling too high, omnibounce cannot bounce enough light back.
Can u get a group shoot about 7 to 10++ ppls with enough DOF with aperture bigger than F/4?
That's why we need the diffuser to soften the light and up the ISO to have a brighter background.

Group / table shots I only use two apertures - f/5.6 or f/8 depending on distance.
Anyone care to share? Had tried on my niffy kitty, 16-35 and 24-105 on those two apertures. Flash on E-TTL with EV +1/3 or 0 depending on ambient light.

From experience of using flash.
But can see that whaletail can do a lot.. maybe get 1 and try for my sch event cos the ceiling in my sch rather high..
No la. I dun really shoot with two flashes nowadays. I rather let it have a new owner to take care of it then laying it down in my cabi and my cabi seriously no room liao. Haha! :bsmilie:
I dun think I can make it.. Sat night stay home for Big Match.. Only Sunday evening available.

no lah. it is not loose. that LS is meant to be used on 550+580, where both flash differs in size.
