Yeah, because parisilk was kind enough to sell it's 580EXII at that price. Because some customers bought 40/50D then didn't want the flash along. So they used that canon promotion to clear the 580EXII at $599. I wonder why other shops were not so kind enough to do that.


Imagine those shops which sell at the 580EXII to you at $700 and later claim the $599 rebate from Canon. They make a profit of almost like $200.
