TBH 1.8 is truly enough for me. My last 500 shots, mostly shot at f2.8-4. Such thin DOF is not really needed.

My dear, a "cheap" tripod is anywhere from FOC - < $300 with ballhead. You have to consider the weight of your setup la. Already spent few thousands on your gears, don't want it smashing to the ground..

Want cheap, no sturdy
Want sturdy + light = expensive!

Yes, even on a bright day, landscape user NEEDS a sturdy tripod. btw, an expensive tripod goes all the way across the thousand dollar mark. so, you figure la. ;p

btw, considering the dry cabinet??

u can order dry cabinet by phone and they will deliver foc. Try google for Dry Cabi.

go around the mass sellers section, see if got any good lobangs for the dry cabinets ya? understand the moving it can be a hassle. I got my 30L dry cab from carrefour and got them to deliver (but i think have charge). Usually when you get the bigger cab, they'll deliver for free. ;p
