Anyone knows where to find good and light monopod which can extend up to at least 1.5m? Not the carbon fiber ones as those are too ex. I also need to find the legs of the gorillapod which is about 50cm in length?

10-22, 17-50, 70-200 f4 IS
OR
10-22, 17-50, 24-105
??

considering WEIGHT is always an issue with me. if i do away with e 24-105 hor, i'll prob be lugging around e 70-200 or ALL 3 lenses (my UWA, tammy, tele).. can die hor? hai headache.

17-50 is always good for crop cameras la.. i don't distort ppl w 10-22 and no need change lens. aiyah. guess no hab best of both worlds..

now where to find cheaper 17-50 VC leh? (IS spoilt gal here) :bsmilie:

:bsmilie: Change to Sony or Pentax instead. IS/OS/VC/Super Steady for all shots!

Jokes aside, if you get 17-50mm, then forget about 24-105mm and get 70-200mm f/4 IS.

Arrg, forgotten to bring my wirless remote control to my mother in law housec at malaysia and the stand also.

Now I'm at malaysia helping my wife's youngest brother taking photo.

11-9.. i tested my triggers already. The fastest shutter speed I can go is 1/320. Faster than that, got this blackout 1/3 portion at the bottom of my image.

u will see the partial blackout if shutter is faster or equal to the flash sync speed.

How to check the flash sync speed? I set to high-speed sync mode on my 580EX II with manual power output ranging from 1/8 to 1/16. All these, fastest still 1/320.

I heard some triggers can clock in speeds like 1/1000.

either 1/200 or 1/250.
anything faster u will see partial blackout.

Got myself a normal lightweight monopod for $70 which comes with an unremovable ballhead that can only support 2kg of equipments. The removable ones are very expensive... :(

The brand itself:
