Yes, you will still need the blacket SA-2 to in order to connect the Nikon TTL flash cable on it. Unless, you have found some ways to hack the pins out direct from Contax T3's body.

Pls do not ask me how coz I does not know the pins out for Contax T3 body, but I am sure if someone knows the pins out they can make a connecter to connect to TLA200 flash directly.

just got myself a black contax t3.
thought I would resurrect this thread to post my queries.
here goes:

1. Could anyone refer me to a link of the english manual or have a soft copy of it?
Perhaps someone would be kind enough to lend me his copy to photocopy?

2. Where would you service your contax t3 if there is a need to? I checked with P & g at the adelphi and TCW, they said they probably can't do it, due to lack of parts.

3. Is there anywhere else besides ebay where I can get my hands on the filter adaptor and the like? Hongkong maybe?

I'll check with tithes on monday regarding servicing..hope to hear your input on this.

For manual.

For servicing, you will need to approach Tithes. There is only so much that can be serviced here in Singapore.

You are gonna have to pay a lot to get the filter adpater in black. The titanium coloured adapter already costs a bomb on eBay.

Checked with Tithes regarding servicng , guy I spoke to says it shouldn't be a problem.
hopefully I won't get to test it out. Still halfway thru my test roll.

As for accessories that are still available, I have to call them up again to check with their sales manager.

Hope to get the adaptor and filters.

Is there a subsitute for the ever ready case? the finish of the camera seems quite prone to marks..the lens barrier on my T3 has some blemishes which I can't seem to wipe away.
