Based on what is presented in the newspaper, about the funds raised, and the support given to Mr Durai by his staff.

I do donate to NKF, and STILL encourage my family and friends to donate to it.

Wow.. good number.

NKF has 996 staff for 1800 patients. REALLY good staff to patient ratio, first class treatment for patients!

KDF has 20 staff for 180 patients.

(rounded numbers but taken from respective websites)

I'm already picturing this ... as the show progresses and the dotted few "supporters" of the NKF seen in the seats... :

*top or bottom corner of the screen* :

amount donated : $0 (will it become negative?!? )

Eh, then what about KDF? No need for the above meh? Proportional is the issue here.

yawn.... yeah, so what else is new in the world? It almost seems there is a charity show almost every other week now. ;p

Up till now, only 187 has casted their votes. Where are the rest? I'm sure CS has many more members that that... :what:

Yes, why not?
No, not any more
Not sure now

No option for me - never did donate (since I was already vaguely aware of large charity problems) and probably will not until transparency, honestly and service-above-self is demonstrated by the leadership.

For the super well heeled, notably wives of dignitaries, the peanut is now $600K

i am just curious, some kind of "instructions from the top" or what..if you read today ST/Today, nothing mentioned at all about that someone's comment on PEANUT....c'mon, PEANUT has to be the most mentioned word all over the internet the last 2 days...and not a single PEANUT mentioned in all newspapers in Singapore??? wow, the magic of Power......

ps: by the way, nowadays i alway keep 5 rotten eggs in my bag, just in case i bump into that peanut in the street.....

for me, i'm pretty cheesed off by the fact dat the deputy director of comms NKF actually said on TV dat the staff gave a standing ovation to Durai... come on... goes to show the collective corporate arrogance of NKF.
