I called for SENSATIVITY because the fellow posted NO KIDNEY FOUNDATION, just imagine what a NKF or any kidney patient happens to see this thread. It is no laughing matters... SImilar, there's no need to call it National Kelong Foundation. All these are uncalled for.


You are responsible for your own life. Thats why people buy insurance, exercise, eat well and quit smoking etc.

what will the lay person think and feel about it? her tone and all? what if this never took place, all Singaporeans will never get to know the truth?

anyway, i feel that transparency is vital for any charitable organisation. from what i see, NKF shot themselves this time round.

be thankful that its only graffiti-art on their walls. that's about all most Singaporeans can do.

The real losers in this incident are the patients who need the subsidised treatment. The public donations may drop but the salarymen will continue to get their pay cheques. Will NKF use or not use public money to pay for the costs of the lawsuits? I hope the NKF Board of directors will come out to clarify. Let there be greater transparency and accountability in future. It is an honest mistake worth learning from. Let us all sought to forgive and forget NKF and move on for the sake of the patients it set out to help.

Do not let in-fighting to doom us. Peace !

Supply of false or misleading information to Commissioner, etc.

(a) in purported compliance with a requirement imposed by or under this Act; or

(b) otherwise than as mentioned in paragraph (a) but in circumstances in which the person providing the information intends, or could reasonably be expected to know, that it would be used by the Commissioner for the purpose of discharging his functions under this Act.

(2) Any person who wilfully alters, suppresses, conceals or destroys any document which he is or is liable to be required, by or under this Act, to produce to the Commissioner shall be guilty of an offence.

(3) Any person guilty of an offence under this section shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $5,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year or to both.

(4) In this section, references to the Commissioner include references to any person conducting an inquiry under section 8.

Very resourceful dude. But the final end is that 'this will never happen'.
Just like my previous company. All related documents regarding how the company runs & funds by the investers are all destroyed even before someone can come & check on it. :sweat:

When mrs goh said $600,000 was peanuts.From her point of view. It really is. $600,000 is not enough for her facial, botox, spa, slimming etc. We are talking top of the line service.$600,000 can only buy you studio apartment in the city.Unfortunately, some people take that to be insensitive.

I think she have her fare share not less than S$80-90k per month? Or even more than a million? :think:

i thought it was reported all expenditures are from public/donor's money. So this case is NKF and their CEO sued SPH, even if CEO is paying it from his own pocket, what about NKF??? obviously also from public/donor
