We should have a petition to resume the 10-day NKF-SPH court case and hear out the rest of the 9 days. Only then will all dirt and grime of the NKF high-lifes be surfaced. Surrendering on day-1 is too easy way out...

I think Mrs. Goh's remarks not a good reflection for Mr. Goh. Should consider before splurting to the press.

The first 2 charity shows occurred BEFORE the start of the court case dis Monday. The 2 shows drew in over $10million worth of donations IN PHONE CALLS.
The 3rd and LAST SHOW which was held yesterday (14 July) generated only approximately $1million worth of donations (Note: There wasn't any active pushing of prizes and there was NO MENTION of how many phone calls were generated so the origin of the $1m donations whether its from phone calls or not is seriously in doubt).
The court case between SPH and NKF started on 11th July, 4 days ago.
Over 6000 people withdrew from their monthly GIRO donations upon hearing about facts being revealed.
Online petition to remove Durai came to over 30,000 signatories (yours truly included).
Note to the ignorants to GIRO System: In case Malaysia do not have such a GIRO deduction system (perhaps simply due to many 'reasons' involved) to charities, GIRO donation comes in the form of an automatic fund transfer to the charity's bank account at a pre-determined date with no promises of prizes, lottery whatsoever involved.
Much as it was stated that Singaporeans spent over a few billion worth in gambling in a survey a few years ago (it seemed to have stuck in ur head pretty much), when it comes to charity, ppl dun screw around.
SO, the point is... What would be YOUR CHOICE if u were to call in? Purely for charity? Or holding a small little hope in ur heart that u'll win a condo as well when u called? :think: "There is no pure altruism in this world" Kho King. You and us including. Don't be so quick to dismiss and deny this 'thing'.
