to be honest, personally i believe she brought the house down on NKF, with her less than sensitive remarks on the pay package of the CEO. that really made alot of people sit up and take notice of the vast differences between them, and us common folks. :bsmilie:

Nisa, wouldn't you think that your aunt will be happier if she does not have to rely on her family to help? The donation is meant to help those in need so why give it as a subsidy? From all the information gathered, the subsidy is only one third of the required expenditure. The patient still have to fork out two third. The interest generated by $262 million alone @ 3% is around 7 - 8 million, that should go to the patient and not into their bonuses. It is our money that generate the interest and don't forget, I donate without any conditions with my donation so why does NKF have to impose theirs to those who need help?

I think she would be happier, but then i don't think it's for the greater good.

Lots to be done. I wonder what other revelations would have come up if the trial had continued. Then the focus would have moved from Mr Durai to NKF itself, the board of directors and their activities. Pity we'll never know.

And yes, Mr Davinder Singh deserves a tiger. Bought the whole NKF house down.

Don't get you. How is money that is collected for charity that goes fully (or as much as possible) for the welfare of the PATIENTS NOT "for the greater good?"

Are you implying that its better that the CEO and board of NKF get their huge cuts out of public donations rather than it all going to the patients treatments (which it was intended to in the first place)? :dunno:

The purpose of the NKF CEO flying out of SIN has not been make known yet? How many trips did he make per year? . . . . . . "Lets Move On" phrase saves the day beautifully?
