Strange happenings on a nocturnal grocery shopping trip.

Shot entirely on the Canon 5D Mark II, it was meant to test out the monochrome look and feel, together with the low ISO. Shoot location was at Jalan Leban, Singapore.

Sound recorded on the Zoom H4N with redhead windscreen.

Lenses used, 35mm 1.4, 50mm 1.4, 85mm 1.4, 90mm 2.8 macro.

beautiful cinematography.. some shots a lil too shakey tho :)

Very good short. Enjoyed it very much.

i like the way its taken, havent seen something like that from singapore in sometime.

thanks for the comments.. regarding the shaky shots, it was done on purpose as we wanted to achieve a Christopher Doyle-like feel..

Overall it has a nice feel but I had a hard time listening to the dialog, especially the father's one.

How about subtitles? :)

I like your framing, yes the dialogue abit sofe, maybe just bring up the volume and lower ur music and it will be fantasic. I like the music composition too!
