Thats a JnK skin, lol ;);)

btw i dropped by OSC today, and I saw some Gariz cases and accessories on display. I think they will launch a website for PEN accessories soon. There was a poster with a website... sadly i forgot the URL :(

There's a small note dated 10 June at http://www.olympusimage.com.sg/ which says "Our online accessories store will be in full operations by July 2010, watch this space for more information!"

So I guess anytime soon ......

great, i just ordered my JnK leatherette from ebay for $55 and they are selling theirs for $29 -_-

JnK's skin is real leather ...

*Jnk

I've had my "leatherette" (more like rubberized) Aki-Asahi skins replaced twice already, easily worn out at least in my non-sweaty grip.

This Jnk leather seems like it will last for years, as leather should be. The skins help in gripping, for those who don't use cases. Someone used it to cover his E-P2 paint peels.

But if the Olympus skin is real leather, then it certainly is cheaper.

Anyone bought ultravoilet filter? is it useful?

edit: oh and what soft shutter release are you using? i'm looking for one that doesn't have ugly looking designs on it. plain black or chrome would be great

true true. i was staring at the website again and it looks like the oly website one is some sort of lizard skin look. i decided to convince myself that i hate lizard skin, just to feel better. hahahaha

hmm any idea if they sell the original hotshoe cover? the 2nd hand set i bought didnt have it

helps eliminate haze, but more importantly, it protects your lens from scratches

good point... I think I will get that too, any idea how much is the ultra violet filter?

I assume third party is okay right as long its 40.5 right?

Olympus online shop now offers the Gariz Soft Buttons, both concave and my favorite convex shape, with or without hot shoe cover (not useful for those with VF-2). Cool functional stuff IMHO, although I don't know if the price is cheaper compared to the other Singapore online shops who also sells them.
