Hi all,
am thinking of getting a 128Mb flashcard, would like to ask where can I get the cheapest one for my G2?
another qn, wats the diff between an expensive card and a cheap one? aren't they still offer the same storage? is there any difference bet a good or bad card? if so, wats good and wats bad??
win

also quite "blur" when it comes to CF cards

any brand CF card can be used with any digital
camera that uses CF card for memory?

:dunno:

I think it is commonly recommended that the Ridata 16X 128mb compact flash is the cheapest and best value for money at $90 from AP. If the specified storage is the same, the actual storage will be the same too regardless of the price. More expensive cards like Sandisk etc sometimes tend to read/write slower than the cheap Ridata, well maybe they are priced high for the brand name and the quality and durability. But so far I haven't heard of anyone's Ridata failed them before, so it's the best bet and one of the fastest CF card, cheap somemore!

For the G2, it supports CF1 and CF2, including microdrive.

Sim Lim Square, Ground Floor, has a big NIKON sign above the shop.

I have Ridata 20X 512MB Type I.
Very fast. Faster than microdrive and Lexar 12X.
Very reliable. Shot at least 5000 photos with them and they never fail.
Very robust. Feels and looks tough.
Cheaper than branded cards. $430 for one.

Design of picture on card very ugly though.
