is there any diff between sd & mmc

SD is theoritically faster, newer, thicker than MMC. Comes with a lock switch, 2 extra pin(9). Comes with copyright protection technology.

Devices that supports SD may (theoritically) support MMC, but may not be so for products that uses mmc.
