But I'll probably never go to AP anymore. I went in and was quoted $590 for the ZD 70-300mm, with a black face. I said no thanks and went out. Immediately, the price was cut to $540! Ignored and walked out. Just my experience.

well, considering that it is a Leica design and it probably has plenty of ED glass in there...2x the price of the Nikon 18-200 VR isn't that far off the mark.

maybe blu can share his opinion on this lens?

One fantastic lens..but unless you are like me desperate in prolonging the life of a non IS body, Is it really worth it to burn that money? A combination of 11-22 and the 50-200 would give a brighter combination. But I do not regret my decision in getting this 14-150.

I saw E420 in MS color today. The price quoted was S$920 for E420 with pancake lens.
However, they don't sell the pancake lens separately yet.
