Went to OP yesterday, was quoted $750 for the 30mm f1.4, with local warranty. However, it will have to be ordered, and take 2 weeks to arrive!

The grey one in the shop is $660.

Anyone knows what is the current price of E30 body?

Anyone knows what is the current price of E30 body?

Recently I asked for the prices with kit:
E30 + 14-54mm - $2160 (MS Colours)
E30 + 12-60mm - $24xx (Best Denki)

FL50R $689-690 cash/nets at Song/Alan Photo at SLS.

U can get grey set for $650. They do not give u the warranty card. I dunno what kind deal is that though.

i got my E30 not long ago..

E30 + 14-42mm + 55-200mm + FL36R for $2653..

body alone im not sure..

If it's really the 50-200 (SWD or not), then E30 + 14-42mm + 55-200mm + FL36R for $2653 is a steal.

for 4/3 mount? sorry I didnt keep track on lenses so much nowaday.

Anyone knows best prices for E620 body only?

Anyone knows best prices for E620 body only?

yah... am interested to know too... and its grip (HLD5) px...
the stupid thing about this cam is the batts cannot be shared with my E3's...

what i know is that the HLD5 not yet in stores (as of 4th May 2009). I even called OSC and they said that its with the dealers and when I called the dealers, they said wait for stock to arrive mahh!. :bsmilie:

E620 body more or less around the 1k mark. Bought the dual kit for 13XX here in Singapore along with freebies . Lucky they also give extra battery coz I liked using the liveview and chimping. The E620 was an excellent camera. Used it for a model shoot and the pix turned out great. Tried the multi format and art filters, the 'others' can only drool. FYI I shoot using L+Raw.

Anyone using it for anything yet? will share picture soon hehe

how does the dynamic range compare to the pre-E-520 bunch? Highlight clipping is a little noticable in the E-3/E-510 that I have...

is there a E620 body package w/o any lens?

blurboiboi,

i think somebody at HN winked at me for the e620 body only, should i be interested but i assume that olympus is clever to bundle everything for the beginners and let the retailers do their own bundling  im not sure.

Boonsong,

I am still playing with the e620 settings but the highlight is more or less better than the pre520 tho. Not much highlight headroom in raw files but the tone curve manages to avoid clipping highlights even at ISO 100. Its interesting to see that both the E620 and E30 use the same sensor and processor (maybe) so the highlight range stays consistently high throughout the higher sensitivity range. IMO may I say more or less like the E3  since the sensor comes from the same manufacturer albeit in a higher res.
One of the features that i like with the E620 (an E30 in a smaller body) is the spot metering with shadow and highlight based spot.

Just a newbie 2 cents.

Hey Oly5050, just went down to Toa Payoh Courts and was quoted $1148 for the E620 body alone plus one extra batt and 1 8GB CF card.

Asked the salesman about bundling the e620 with the 12-60mm and he said $2747 with the spare batt, 1X 8GB CF card and a 26L Akarui dry cabinet.

Hm, its very expensive as the E30 + 12-60mm can be bought at $24XX at Best Denki as posted by SIX-GHz.

Anyone else has any price updates for the E620 elsewhere?

Does any one have news that Olympus will up their prices soon? Been observing that the C, N, S camps have increased their prices by quite a bit.
