That is a decent price. S$3,700 is the high side of the quote from Cathay Photo when I asked them a while back. It should technically be between S$3,200-S$3,700 pending on which shop you have a good relationship with. So tempted to put in the cost of the lens... ha ha ha... sorry, no go. Have to protect retailers... ha ha ha...
Was browsing on Amazon and came across the E520 single lens kit at USD $492.84 or 54% discount!! Wish I am in the USA to take advantage of the offer. Might even be worth considering vpost, just not sure how big the packaging will be as I have been bitten too many times by a large shipment of air/foam.

I got mine for US$362.50. There was an additional 5% d/c on top of the discounted price for using some discount code thing.
BUT DO TAKE NOTE that, they only ship to properly registered residential addresses - they also requested for registered landlord's name and land line contact number. I had encountered some difficulty when I was raising my purchase for this item back in Sept this year, so much so that I had to get my colleague staying in the states for help.

Bro, which shop are you referring to. Last i emailed CP and AP, for all the 3 items they were quoting almost 3500. I've been eying those items for months If the price drops subsequently, i think its worth flying over to Singapore and get it.

Was quoted grey set at $720 and local at $780 abt a month ago.
