thanks raptor, point noted..i will try again on your composition tips
how do you tell the lighting is a bit harsh..the flash was with stofen dialed to -2/3..
any tips on that..,thhanks
Hmmm..now I understand..
anyway it was intended as fill flash but due to the angle not quite possible to bounce..
i've rarely used -1 to -2 on my flash for fear of not enough light maybe i should try
thanks raptor..
gees look at the equipments you have. anyway i love cats as well and it's the case where all cats will tend to have the same kinda look. go for different angles and wait for expressions. making the cat stand out among the rest. ppls would love cute cute expressions and behaviours of cats i think
hahaha...well i was using the G6 for a long time until i came into some cash..could have bought a 5D with a f2.8 L lens or Mark II N with a normal lens but i chose a 350D with 2 f2.8
L and the speed lite..that is also after close to 1 year of reading reviews and asking for opinions..hopefully i chose wisely..
thanks Koelsch for your comment, will work on it.now i have to find a way to make that cat look cute..man the trouble i had mto make it keep still for the above shot...
Try taking a portriat of 2 dogs and 1 cat together :bsmilie: Animals especially if they are not yours are very hard to take. Its a little like taking young children where you cannot give the artistic direction but have to wait or predict the right moment. For that you need experience and patience. Keep shooting and experimenting/learning .
wah you strike Toto or 4D ar? Or did your company give 3 month bonus
just my worthless comment..
when taking subjects.. u can try to take it from an angle or height where people normally wun see it...
from this pic, its petty boring as we normally look at cats from top...
dun feel offended ok...
