The Maha 401 charger conditions the battery while it charges, so some of the older batteries may need more time for conditioning than the newer fresher batteries. After a few cycles of charging, the battery condition will generally improve and take lesser time to charge.

Thanks.

Txs 4 e info.. however, I made my assessment based on brand new batteries.. except that e Sanyo's r 2100mA whereas e GP & PowerEx r 1800mA. I also tried charging old Sony 1600mA & it took slightly less than 100 mins 2 complete.

E best feature I like abt Maha is that it is very reliable.. not a single time it display any hicups but I agree /w most that e price is not that affordable though.. quality comes at a price lar.

No oo, I always charges overnite, but didnt feel hot, cause once full charges it will cut of the power. But if battery after charges very hot, mean battery knock off soon, just like cellular battery, if very hot after charges, mean "bye bye" soon.....;)
same here. don't feel the heat. ;)
