I got my first DSLR Canon EOS 450D at Comex, same free gifts as per advertised + 1X UV filter & 1XScreen protector...Price: S$1280. They run out of EF book & 160GB HDD, gotta go down to Vivo to redeem ...the SD cards are "Lexar" brand one ....

Yeah, Lexar is on par with SanDisk (both cost and performance wise). Quite a few professional photographers even prefer Lexar's Compact Flash to SanDisk's...

I have also bought the extended warranty at the COMEX yesterday.
I just registered my warranty online just now as I was not able to login to that website yesterday night.
But after the registration, the extended warranty is not reflected at the warranty history page.
Has anyone faced the same situation as me?
Did you receive anything from the extended warranty booth except the free lens?

I think they not do the data entry yet. Now our paper form still stack on their table waiting to be inputed. wait another 1-2 week to get waranty info updated

called canon today and asked if i can self collect the 50mm lens. they said yes, got stocks. so if you guys cant wait to get ur hand on the lens then go n collect urself! its much faster!

Haha...nice deal.....i got a 16gb Kingston SDHC + filter free...haha....I forgot to ask for another battery....haha...lol....i still got the standard freebies...haha...including 2 x 4gb SDHC cards...haha....how much does the original battery cost? Maybe i'll get one with the battery grip.
