What could be achieved with taking models pics during such show?
Crowds everywhere and terrible scene.

Ya. Actually not easy to find a good spot to take photos of the models. Somemore, can't really be that thick skinned to ask to let u take photos while they r being paid to promote the products. Think should wait for The Big Boyz Show or Motorshow to get good pictures!

sometimes, that could be even worst, just imagine, 20 over ppl shooting 1 model, it is like hell man, the pix would be over-expose or under-expose. whereas, com shows are usually 1-1, so not that bad, can hav more control.

somemore this year Big Boyz Toyz is free admission:complain:, sure go alot of old uncle, un~ti and ppl who go in and kao pei kao bu~~~ when u take photos, they would say, 'see those ppl so chee kok:devil:' <--heard this last year, when this 40+ uncle told his friend, maybe abt me, 'see that young fellow there, so young so chee kok.....' how i wish i could :hammer: him

You are right. I know some of the girls working there. They told me they got scolded because some photographers (here in this thread as well) ganged up on them, treated it like a model shoot, pose them and kept taking photos of them. Right after hounding them for a good 10 minutes, the photographers will start bugging them for email addresses to "send them the photos".

Right now, a pair of photographers from here is pretty famous amongst those who has worked at a few shows. Apparently they frequently hit events together. One of the models told me she remembered one of the guys trying to catch upskirt of herself from a previous event. After that he even approached her to take a photo together, and tried to get her email address.

LOL incidentally, these pair are part of the reason a few of the promoters/models are supposed to get photographers to ask their management/boss before lettimg them shoot. I was kinda embarassed when some of them complained to me about my "friend" caused them to be scolded etc, when all I commented was I knew they were from CS forum.

Well, no names mentioned, I believe everyone would be matured to learn to watch their manners at the next event. Better not act like "despos", as being labelled by some of the girls.

I think the bugging for email addresses are just a cheap way to get the girl's contact. I know, some are sincere but if the girl doesn't give the email address it's obvious that she isn't too keen on getting her pics or she's really busy. Either way, her priority there is the product she's promoting. All else is secondary.

I don't know which 2 photographers but if it really does happen, it's not exactly the most honourable thing to do.:thumbsd:

Also agreed with what you said. At most I show them the photos on my LCD screen.

So far I have not asked them for their contacts, they are usually the ones who gave their emails if they wanted the photos (They never replied after I sent the photos which could mean my photos are bad! )

2) Getting contacts and emails. Models can reject giving their contacts and emails to photographers etc during the show like rejecting photographs. In fact, there were cases where it is the model(s) requested the photographers to send them pictures. I suggest that they should have a secondary email to prevent unwanted buggings on their primary email.

Would it be a good idea if the photos are sent to the company or agency directly so that they can receive the photos?

Bro, don't take it too hard, they are usually not as prompt/friendly as the cosplayers in replying.
