I've taken pictures (digital format) for my friend's wedding and it seems that these two shops are highly recommended at this forum.

Will be printing it in 4Rs and wonder how is their pricing and turnaround time.

This is my first time trying out more professional printing shop.

BM - 50c per 4R. Within 1 hour or so. Collection is on the spot. Waiting is necessary.

try www.hotprint.com.sg at China Square Central
Call them at 6327-4833 for details.

At 4Rs, the Agfa D-Lab2 machine offers higher pixel resolution (400 ppi) than Fuji Frontier machines (300 ppi)(?).

turnaround usually depends on how much volume the store has to print. THose that turnaround in an hour safely assumes you have done ALL the necessary color profiling to match your display to their ICC profiles and you just need direct prints. No color correction could be done for large volumes of photo (e.g., weddings, events) within the hour.

Thank you. Understand that they don't do glossy for 4Rs. Will the prints be inferior to those glossy ones?

KT Color Centre charges $0.30 each, no handling fee. Why don't u try printing 1 4R glossy over there. If u like it, continue, otherwise BM is only a few bus stops away. :)

oh yeah... most of my prints are from KT Too...

GD service, fast, efficient..
and where i stay?

I WORK in tuas and stay at CCK..
but nevertheless... KT would be my first Choice!
HAHAHAHA.. not a spokewoman!

Heard they use a special paper. Not glossy or matt...in between, not too shiny surface & won't have fingerprint stains easily like matt

Just got back some 4R & S8R prints from Beautiful Memories.

Excellent results & great service.

It's called Lustre paper.

They print on lustre paper. It looks less sharp but last better and less likely to have finger prints on it

For sharpness and colour brightness, go for glossy. But for duarability, go for lustre or matte. also, check out the album that you prefer, as the plastic may be'sticky' to glossy prints.

I print at Colourlab. 35c promotion now for 4R, OK to use credit card, good service, typically 1 day to 2 days. Before I balance my own colours, they did very good job, but now I control my own colours :)

hi, just curiuos to find out where is ColorLad actually, sorry that I'm a newbie, so wasn't really sure where was it.

I've decided and gave BM try and must say that their service is good and collected my prints less than a hour. That's convenience!

Since it's wedding photos, I reckon that it is a better choice to go for lustre paper.

Thanks to those that has responded to this thread.
