Thanks, the second one I tried to capture the color of the land, but it was too foggy at that time, maybe bnw will be better.

yes, this is first bend of Changjiang at 石鼓镇.I saw your thread as well, the 2nd part of my journey quite similar with yours, we went to Meili and Yubeng as well.
U meant 金沙江 (it's called Jinshajiang before it hits the plain of Sichuan)... looking at the map again, now I understand. The turn at 石鼓 is one that changes the course of the flow from south-bound to north-bound.
